The Enrolment Process

1. Join the Waitlist

Use the link below to register your interest in enrolling at Brookville Kindergarten.

Waitlist applications are accepted anytime.

We encourage prospective parents to attend an open day so they explore what Brookville offers and how our approach may suit your child and family. See the open days on our calendar page.

Joining the waitlist may not necessarily result in an enrolment offer as this is dependent on where your child is placed on the list and subject to our enrolment criteria.

4. Prepare to Start

This is the final step of the enrolment process. Before the kindergarten year starts, you will be emailed a detailed enrolment form, a parent handbook and information relating to the parent and parent child orientation days.

The enrolment form is an online form and is accompanied by your child's birth certificate and immunisation history. This can be uploaded to the form. The parent handbook gives helpful information on how to start the kindergarten year off well.

Orientation days are part-days and half-days at the beginning of the Kindergarten year to help your child transition into the Brookville environment.

2. Accept the Letter of Offer

If your child is on the waitlist and eligible for an enrolment offer, the Kindergarten will email you a "Letter of Offer". This process generally begins around May prior to your child's commencement year and continues until we reach capacity.

To accept this "Letter of Offer" you will be asked to present your program preference via an online form.

An upfront security payment, irrespective of program preference, will also be required. This will be deducted from your child's term one fees. It is essential that be completed by the due date.

If the Kindergarten opts into the Free Kinder Initiative all holding deposits will be refunded at your request or alternatively allocated to your interest for extended hours beyond the Government's 15 hour allocation.

The Kindergarten will confirm receipt of the above documents.

3. Confirmation of Program Preference

The Kindergarten will email the confirmation of your program preference (when class lists have been finalised.)

The program structure for 2026:

  • 3A - 3-year-old program - 3 days - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - 8.30am - 3.00pm

5. Attend the AGM in November

Your attendance at the AGM is encouraged. This is the time for you to meet your child's teachers and gain additional information about the Kindergarten.

A new Committee is elected at this time and it is highly encouraged that you consider nominating yourself for a Committee role.

The AGM takes place in November. All families will be emailed an invitation and nomination forms.
